Historical Miniatures for Over Three Decades

The Last Square owns, makes and sells unpainted metal miniatures for historical gamers and painters. We've been at it since 1995, and since the early 2000s the lines we sell have been proprietary to The Last Square.

• Figurehead: 1:6000 scale ships from the pre-dreadnought era through WWI, WWII and after, plus 1:1250 WWII coastal boats and 1:2400 sailing ships.
• CaP Aero: 1:1200 scale aircraft of WWII and the years after.
• Perrin Miniatures: 10mm troops and equipment for the American Civil War, the Franco-Prussian War, the British Colonial wars and the Zulus, and WWII.
• Howard Hues: proprietary water-based military colors, in one ounce (30 ml) jars.

Picture HMS Hood, one of Britain's largest battlecruisers at the start of WWII, scaled down to an inch in length and still identifiable. Or a Junkers Ju 88 heading for London during the Battle of Britain, about a quarter the size of your little fingernail. Then picture a major naval or air battle laid out on a fairly small table. That's what we make, in scales that are hard to find or simply don't exist anywhere else.

Shipping

We're not here to make money on shipping. Within the continental US it's $8 on orders up to $50, $14 up to $100, and free over $100. Free shipping applies within the continental US only. We ship USPS unless you ask for something else. Overseas shipping is based on USPS posted prices, and we'll usually talk it through with you first so there are no surprises.

Orders are taken here seven days a week. Our goal is to ship within a day or two, and you'll get a tracking number when it goes out.

The Shop

We're in the hills outside Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, about half an hour west of Madison. The shop is open Tuesday through Sunday, noon to 5, and closed Mondays. Out-of-town visitors are always welcome to stop in, dig through the boxes and do some shopping. Call ahead and we can usually fit around your plans.
